HSK 3+ Conversational Practice

In this part of the lesson, we will be practicing the vocabulary and grammar that we've learned in Lesson 35.1 and Lesson 35.2. There are two separate conversational practice:

  1. CONVERSATION → 《老同学》
  2. STORY TELLING →《该考试了》

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Learn
    1. Listen and repeat along with the video
  2. Practice daily - the most important part for achieving fluency
    1. Spend 10-30 minutes per day reading the lesson materials aloud (with or without the video)
    2. Practice conversations and stories from previous lessons too

老马:Old Zhou, this time you came to Shanghai, we (who are) several “ge” (of) (your) old classmates really (are) especially happy!

老周:Right, everyone long-tome-no-see! (In) those years attending college with you guys in here I went-pass especially happy.

老马:If you can move-over to Shanghai to live, that “then” (will be) really too good!

老周:I also was thinking, should (I or) not should I move-over-(here). 。

老马:If you arrive here, (you) should be-able-to find (a) job much better “comparing with” (your job) now.

老周:You said right, (the) work opportunities here “comparing with” there (where) I (am) (are) more, (the) salary level also (are) much higher, but Old Ma, you also know, (that the) houses here really (are) pretty expensive. I need to first see “really quick” (that I) have-the-potential-to-be-able-to (or) not find (one) “ge” (of) better job in here.

老马:You (do) not have problem. If you really have this “ge” (of) plan, “then” prepare “a little bit” earlier. I can for you introduce several “jia” (of) companies, you first (-) “ba”{indicating the handling of} resume (-) give me, I let them look-at (it) “really quick”.

老周:Okay, then (I) really need-to thank old classmate.

Classmates, we last “ge” (of) week already finished-learning “Chinese II”, (and we) should take-test (already), (in) this(-way) everyone can know-well “really quick” how (are) (your)self’s current Chinese-language level. Test time is next “ge” (of) month-also exactly is July 28, still is (the) time (that) we have-class, Thursday morning 9 o‘clock to 11 o’clock, altogether two “ge” (of) hours. Test location is-at No.1 Teaching-Building Classroom 101. (At the) time (of) test (you) cannot use character-dictionary and word-dictionary, especially (those that) are your-guys’ electronic dictionaries, (you) cannot take (them) to (the) classroom. Questions (of) this “time” (of) test all are choice-questions, please use pencil to write on (the) answer-question-card-surface(/answer sheet).
