The (连)一……都/也 不/没(有)…… structure is used to indicates “complete negation”, "none, not even one".
When using this structure, we follow this format, and 连 can be omitted.

We'll look at some examples:
- Jiēdào shang (lián) yí ge rén dōu/yě méiyǒu.
街道上连一个人都没有。
街道上一个人都没有。
街道上连一个人也没有。
街道上一个人也没有。
(On the) streets-surface (-) “even” one “ge” (of) person (-) (does) not exists.
There is not even one person on the streets. - Zhè xiē shēngcí wǒ (lián) yí ge dōu/yě bú rènshi.
这些生词我连一个都不认识。
这些生词我一个都不认识。
这些生词我连一个也不认识。
这些生词我一个也不认识。
These new-words (-) I (-) “even-” one “ge” (-) (do) not know.
I do not even know one “ge” (of) these new-words.
Grammar 2. 对(于)……来说
duì(yú)......lái shuō ▸ to/for...

This structure has two variations that share the same meaning but a little bit different in tones:

| 对于……来说 | a little bit more formal |
Below are some example sentences:
- Duì(yú) wǒ lái shuō, wǒ zhǐ xīwàng fùmǔ néng zhùyì shēntǐ jiànkāng.
对我来说，我只希望父母能注意身体健康。 informal
对于我来说，我只希望父母能注意身体健康。
To/for me, I just hope (that my) parents can pay-attention-to (their) body health. - Duì(yú) gōngsī wèilái de fāzhǎn lái shuō, zhè ge xiàngmù fēicháng zhòngyào.
对公司未来的发展来说，这个项目非常重要。 informal
对于公司未来的发展来说，这个项目非常重要。
For/to (the) future development (of the) company, this “ge” (of) project (is) very important.
