  • Wǒ xiànzài hái bù xiǎng huàn gōngzuò.
    我现在还不想换工作。
    I now still not want to change job.
    Now I (do) not want to change (my) job yet.

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Wǒ zǒu le, míngtiān jiàn!
    我走了,明天见!
    I leave -le, tomorrow see!

  • Lù shang xiǎoxīn, míngtiān jiàn!
    路上小心,明天见!
    Road-surface careful, tomorrow see!

  • Nǐ ’è le ma? Wǒ yǒu bǐnggān, nǐ yào ma?
    你饿了吗?我有饼干,你要吗?
    You hungry -le -ma? I have cookie, you want -ma?

  • Wǒ xiǎng qù chāoshì mǎi língshí.
    我想去超市买零食。
    I want to go to supermarket buy snack.
    I want to go to (the) supermarket buy snack(s).
  • Zhè jiā chāoshì de dōngxi hěn piányi.
    这家超市的东西很便宜。
    This “jia” supermarket -de- thing very inexpensive.
    Things (of) this “jia” (of) supermarket (is) very inexpensive.

  汉字 Hànzì

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Zhè ge Hànzì shì shénme yìsi?
    这个汉字是什么意思?
    This “ge” Chinese-character is what meaning?
    What meaning is this “ge” (of) Chinese-character?
  • Wǒ zhǐ xiǎng xué shuō Hànyǔ, bù xiǎng xué xiě Hànzì.
    我只想学说汉语,不想学写汉字。
    I only want to learn to speak Chinese-language, not want to learn to write Chinese-character.
    I only want to learn to speak Chinese, but (I do) not want to learn to write Chinese-characters.

  • Wǒ chī pīsà, nǐ ne?
    我吃披萨,你呢?
    I want to eat pizza, you -ne?
    I want to eat pizza, how-about you?
  • Tā xīngqī liù méi kòng, nà xīngqī tiān ne?
    他星期六没空,那星期天呢?
    He Saturday not-have free-time, then Sunday -ne?
    He (does) not-have free-time (on) Saturday, then how-about Sunday?

  • Zhè tiáo gǒu zhēn cōngmíng!
    这条狗真聪明!
    This “tiao” dog really smart!
    This “tiao” (of) dog (is) really smart!
  • Wǒ měi tiān zǎoshang dōu qù gōngyuán liù gǒu.
    我每天早上都去公园遛狗。
    I every day morning all go to park to walk dog.
    I go to (the) park to walk (my) dog all (of) every day morning.

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Wǒ kāi chē de shíhou xǐhuan tīng guǎngbō.
    我开车的时候喜欢听广播。
    I drive-vehicle -de- time like listen radio.
    I like listening to (the) radio (at the) time (of) driving.
  • Nǐ xǐhuan tīng shénme lèixíng de yīnyuè?
    你喜欢听什么类型的音乐?
    You like listen to what type -de- music?
    What type (of) music (do) you like listening to?

  走 zǒu

v. ▸ to leave

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Hěn wǎn le, wǒmen gāi zǒu le.
    很晚了,我们该走了。
    Very late -le, we should go -le.
    (It is) very late, we should go (now).
  • Bié zǒu, diànyǐng hòumiàn hái yǒu cǎidàn ne!
    别走,电影后面还有彩蛋呢!
    Not go, movie end additionally have Easter-eggs -ne!

  手机 shǒujī

  • Wǒ měi tiān zǎoshang bā diǎn shàngkè.
    我每天早上八点上课。
    I every day morning 8 o’clock attend-class.

  • Wǒmen xiànzài kāishǐ shàngkè le.
    我们现在开始上课了。

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Nǐ jiā zhēn dà! Zhēn piàoliang!
    你家真大!真漂亮!
    You home really big! Really pretty!

  • Nǐhǎo, wǒ yào yí ge dà hào de pīsà.
    你好,我要一个大号的披萨。
    Hello, I want one “ge” large size -de- pizza.
    Hi, I want one “ge” (of) large-size pizza.

  小 xiǎo

adj. ▸ small; little

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Nǐ xǐhuan zhù xiǎo chéngshì, háishì dà chéngshì?
    你喜欢住小城市,还是大城市?
    You like live small city, or big city?
    (Do) you like living in small citi(es), or big citi(es)?
  • Zhè jiàn yīfu yǒu diǎnr xiǎo, yǒu méi yǒu dà yí hào de?
    这件衣服有点儿小,有没有大一号的?

  • Bié jiē, zhè ge hàomǎ shì sāorǎo diànhuà.
    别接,这个号码是骚扰电话。

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Xīn lái de tóngshì xìnggé búcuò.
    新来的同事性格不错。
    New-come -de- coworker personality not-bad.

  • Wǒ de tóngshì men dōu hěn zhuānyè.
    我的同事们都很专业。

  同学 tóngxué

n. ▸ classmate; schoolmate

 EXAMPLE SENTENCES 

  • Tā shì wǒ de dàxué tóngxué.
    他是我的大学同学。
    He is I -de- university classmate.
    He is my college classmate.
  • Tóngxué, qǐngwèn túshūguǎn zài nǎlǐ?
    同学,请问图书馆在哪里?
    Classmate, please-ask library “zai(is in/on/at...)” where?
