Hello Lili! I have a doubt here. Why is the radical xī written in different ways depending on being by itself or being radical? Thank you!
I would say 夕 xī is written the same as a character by itself and as a Radical. 人(亻), 言(讠), 心(忄), 水(氵), 火(灬) would be examples where the Radical and the actual character are written differently.
Many thanks Lili
