Please kindly fine the writing sheets on each lesson page. (Some introductory lessons do not come with a writing sheet.)
Dear Lili,
this course is really super-thorough and deep. It explains everything in detail and to the point and that’s just what I like because I feel, that I can proceed after having completely understood a topic – here: Pinyin – rather than having lots of blanks and not quite understood bits and pieces. So, this is just the approach to learning, what I need and what I like. I would call it “science-based” because it appears complete (as far as I can tell, being a beginner), very detailed and thoroughly thought-through, like it would be probably taught at university level – I like this a lot. Also, in your discussion of the NEW HSK format video one can see, how deep your preparation and thoroughness in preparing the learning material goes when you refer to that conference introducing this new HSK format. That’s just great! like this scientific-based approach! You have definitely won me as an eager learner of Chinese with your very engaging videos which are very useful and professionally done. Congrats to this. I know how much work that involves and can appreciate it, as I am an academic teacher myself.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! It’s great to hear that the course is hitting the mark for you, especially when it comes to our approach. We’re glad you find the Pinyin section and the new HSK format useful.
Your words are a real boost for us, knowing that all the hard work behind the scenes pays off. Good luck with your Chinese studies! 加油!

Hi Lili! I absolutely enjoy your course. For one who would want to complete the course, on average, how long would it take?
It really depends on each student. One that studies only on the weekends, for one hour, for example, is a lot different than one that studies every day. Some students have more time planned for learning Chinese while some other might have a lot less.
Also it depends on your goal. If you need to learn Chinese because you are going to study or work in China very soon, then you probably can finish a course a lot quicker. But if you learn Chinese as a personal hobby, there is really no need to hurry. Especially with our online program, a big advantage is that you can take your time and learn at your own pace.
I would recommend you taking the first a few sample lessons of the course and get a general idea of how your own learning pace might be like.
I have tried and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. Definitely going to complete this course. 谢谢 Lili!
