In this video lesson we'll learn how to write Chinese characters kan, ting, yinyue and dianying. And we'll also learn their Radicals and their constructions.
Hi! I noticed thatyou wrote 阝giving its pronunciation as ‘yi’ in exercise 1 of this quiz, whereas the dictionary says that the pronunciation of this character is ‘bu’ with same translation ‘city. Does this character have two different pronunciations?
Thank you in advance for your explanation.
阝 is fǔ when used on the left side, and is yì when used on the right side.
I noticed that 乐 (le) and 乐 (yue) share the same character.
So do I. Is this something that we just have to memorise?
