I am really struggling with the grammar of this sentence. 我 想 知道 这个 生词 里的 这个 汉字 怎么 读. I think the literal translation is “I want to know this new word inside’s Chinese character how to read.”, but that doesn’t make much sense.
Think of it more like this, figurative translation: In this new vocabulary word, I want to know how to read this character”
