Hi Lili,
I am still struggling as to when and when not one may omit 的 when talking about possession.
@2.00 it says 别告诉我们经理, @2.50 it says 别人的公司加班吗
1) Is the omission of 的 in the first sentence because of close relation ship or obvious possession?
2) Can 的 be omitted in the 2nd sentence? Both 别人 and 公司 are nouns.

I think it is because 的 is often omitted with personal pronouns.

Thanks, I am getting a better understanding now (slow learner:)
I mean in particular the difference between 的 when used for possession and when used to describe the noun after it (attributive)
