Story Of (The) Big Mountains
In this part of the lesson, we will be practicing the vocabulary and grammar that we've learned in Lesson 13.1 and Lesson 13.2. There are two separate conversational practice:

高云天:I remember (in the) past (I have) heard (when) chatting with someone, (that) Changbai Mountain (is) very fun.
关山月:Correct, I(,when) reading books(,) also (have) ever read (it) somewhere, (that) there-(where)-Changbai-Mountain-(is) (is) very beautiful. I too want to go.

Story Of (The) Big Mountains
(At the) time (when I was) little, (in the) area (of) my home’s back-side existed one “zuo” (of) mountain. Every day morning, the sun from (the) back of (the) mountain came out. (The area of the) mountain’s back-side was also mountains. Those mountains (were) that big,( and) that tall.
I asked (my) father, he (had or) not had (ever) gone to (the) outside of (the) mountains. (My) father told to me, (in) faraway places (that were in the) outside-area (of the) mountains existed lives (that were) very not the same as (the life of) here, (and that) some time (when) I grew up, took-test-(with the result of)- getting-into college, I too could go to (the) outside-area (of the) mountains to take a look “really quick”.
That year (of when I was) 18 years old, I really took-test-(with the result of)-getting-into college. I(, taking along the suitcase,) arrived (the) outside-area (of the) mountains, that very faraway place……
Now, I (have) had (my) wife, (and my) kid(s), I really (have) grown up! I again returned home, looked at “really quick” those mountains (of my) childhood, they already (are) not that tall, also not that big (anymore).
