In Chinese, the bigger place goes before the smaller place. Therefore when we want to say the address of a building or a community, we usually say its number on the street. We follow this structure:
STREET NAME | NUMBER ON THE STREET | BUILDING/ COMMUNITY NAME [can be omitted] |
jiē ……街 street |
hào ……号 number |

lù ……路 road |
In China, the majority of people live in high-rise apartment buildings instead of single-family houses. And For business address also. The majority of offices are also located in high-rise office buildings.
Therefore, when we want to say a detailed address in Chinese with the apartment, room, or suite number, we follow this structure:

We can also add the street number and room number together. Just remember that in Chinese, the bigger place always goes before the smaller place. So for a full address we say it like this:
